Sending texts and emails through the SPC to do so. First go to the patient’s contact profile. Here we pulled up Rachel crash hour. We have her email address in here and her phone number. We can see that this has already been verified because there is no little arrow here. There’s a small arrow next to her phone number simply because we can text from this as well. If you have a small arrows that look like this next to the email and the text, go ahead and click on that and verify the email address. And same is true for the phone number. You’ll see whenever I click on this phone number, instead of saying verify phone number, we can actually opt to text so this little arrow will be here whether or not we verified her phone number. So in this case, because it does not say verify phone number, whenever we click on it, we know that this is verified.
We are first going to send an email to this patient to do so. Click on her email address. Our first step is to choose and delivery date and time to do so. Click on this icon. You can use the arrows at the top of this to go through months. Once you found the correct month, go ahead and select the day. So in this case, I want to send her an email on Monday morning. I’m going to use this up and down arrow toggle between times. In this case, I want to send this at 9:00 AM and to change this from PM, I simply click on it again, the change to am once I’m finished, I can simply click on this check Mark here to set this delivery date and time. Our next step is to select a template. Now your SPC comes with dozens and dozens of different stored templates. The saved templates are unique to your practice. The default templates come with your SPC. Now if we scroll down, we’ll be able to see how many they are and if you they look like we can simply click on any of these templates. For example, we can take a look at our Botox party promotion to see what this looks like. Well for the sake of practice today, I’m first going to show you our custom blank with fields.
These fields, I mean we are pulling data from this contact profile from your SPC and putting it into your automatically. So here are the different fields that we offer to you. We have our contact first name and contact last name, which as I mentioned is pulling the contacts first and last name, the appointment, date and time. These two are pulling from this information when if we’re creating an appointment as well as procedures. Before we start working on this, let’s first add a preview recipient. I can choose to send this to myself first or I can choose to send it to my practice manager or doctor. So do you, so simply clicking this field here and type the preview recipients email address. I’m going to send it to myself. We’re going to add our subjects. Pleasure to meet you and we’ll go ahead and add to the body of our paragraph. We’re going to keep the deer contact first name and last name, but it change the body of the template. Go ahead and select. Inside of this body. Keeping that first and last character. Just to keep the format. I’m going to add a personal note.
Once we finish the lead, that first and last character and follow up, we can enter our call to action, which years we’ll probably have anyway in this case we’re going to write call today and like the first and last character. Now that this looks great, we can go ahead and scroll all the way down and select send preview to send to people we added in the preview recipients field up here. If we’re ready to send this message, simply click on the far right hand arrow of sand preview and select send a message. Once we send that, we can come back to the contact profile, scroll down and we can see that the email message has been scheduled by Rachel crash hour. When they come back here on Monday at 9:00 AM I’ll be able to see the message and see if she’s opened it or clicked through to send a text message, go to the contact profile, click on their phone number and select text.
Now if you’re pulling this up on your phone, which again, the SPC or the social patient center is mobile friendly, you could actually call them straight from this as well by selecting call. Well let’s go ahead and choose texts and choose our delivery date. I’m going to keep this as is. I can add any pre recipients if we want. Send it to myself first. I can type my phone number in here and I can add additional previous recipients. I separating them with a comma. Once these two steps are sect, then the time for me to write my text message.
Hey Rachel, we are thinking of you here at SPC play football as well. Give us a call if you have any additional questions. As you can see as I’m taking this text message on the bottom right hand side, it says 11 characters remaining. Do be cognizant of this because we didn’t want to go over that. As you can see, there’s plenty of characters to write whatever you need to say, Oh, I can select send preview to send to my previous Sapient’s. I added my text message, or I can click on the small arrow to the right of sin preview and select send a message. Well, it’s like send this message. It’s going to permanently say in this context profile as you response, those are going to populate and your notification center to all of your SOC members. So these are again considered a universal notifications. Once she does respond, simply click on that notification, select Richard crusher has replied to a text message that we’ll be back to her contact profile. From there, you’ll be able to read what it says and then respond to her following the same steps that we just did.
