Creating a bill from the patient contact type, the patient’s name, and the top header search bar. Select the context name. What’s her contact profile appears. Scroll down just a touch until you see history. Click on the history dropdown and choose purchases. Scroll down one more time and from here we can create a new bill or a new quote. To create a new bill, select new bill. The billing dates and the contact name will automatically populate. Verify that the billing, location and place of service is accurate. Assign a patient coordinator such as Rachel. We can add to or edit or message to a customer simply by clicking into this field. We can add any private notes. Let’s finish with the top information. Scroll down to your billable items. We can add items simply by clicking in our item field.
We can add the quantity of botox. So for example, Emma Roberts is purchasing 50 units of Botox. We want to assign our billing provider. I can continue adding items by clicking on this field and typing. Or I can simply go to my item browser, which lists all of my products, my services in my packages. I can filter my item browser by clicking on the top left dropdown and choosing either products, services, or packages. I’m going to select products for now because she’s also purchasing lefties. I’m simply going to select add, and then now on the right hand side I can see my selected products and services. I can also go ahead and add additional items simply by clicking on the rest of the ad buttons. And once I’m finished, I simply click on safe. If I accidentally add in item that Emma does not wish to purchase, I can simply click on the trashcan on the right hand side of each row.
For example, here, she’s not interested in purchasing the gentle cleanser, so I’m simply gonna find her gentle cleanser. Go to the right hand side and click on our trashcan to add discounts. Simply select add discount. You can choose a dollar amount, percentage, or per unit. In this case, I’m going to select per unit. I’m going to give her $2 off per unit. I have to choose my discount reason. In this case she’s a social media influencer. Select save and now the discount has been deducted from my total. I can scroll down to view my general services total, my sub total, the discounts given if any sales tax has been applied, and then of course my grand total. From here I’m going to go ahead and save bail and make payment and now I’m prompted to make that payment. I need to assign my provider April Linda, verify my location is still accurate. Choose by method of payment, whether it’s a card, cash check or other. The options we’ve configured for other include a handful of different types of payments.
