Template Provider Work Schedules. To create work schedules for your providers, go to your left-hand navigation menu, scroll down to Configuration, and choose the second option, Calendar. From here, we can see that we are viewing our Appointment Types, so we want to come to the far right-hand side, click on Appointment Types, right under Marketing Details. In our Training dropdown, select Provider Work Schedules. Here we can see all of the provider’s names. Let’s choose Rachel Kraushaar. We can see that we have one week created here. So let’s click on this link, which is going to direct us to the week of November 3rd. Here we can see if that she’s scheduled for Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We can choose the different days here, as we’ll see again in a moment, we can edit this from here. But what I want to go ahead and do is create this from scratch.
So let’s go back and select Add New Schedule. We’re going to select a week, the week of November 10th. Choose a day, let’s say Monday. Let’s say she starts work at 8:00 AM, and she goes home at 5:00. Click on that little clock icon to the right of this field, and use the up and down arrows to find the proper time. We can also click on the number itself, to find the hour or minute. We can also click on the AM and PM toggle, and let’s choose a location. Now that that looks great, we can either click on this Plus button to the far right to just add another row, or we can click on the icon to the right of this, or the middle icon that looks like two pieces of paper stacked on top of each other. This is going to clone this first row, and create a new one.
Now, all we have to do is change the days. So for Monday, Tuesday, so we have Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Everything else is in place, unless let’s say she works at 7:00 AM on Friday, so let’s go ahead and change that, until 5:00 PM. On Monday she works from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. If she’s not going to be working on this Tuesday, you can go ahead and click Delete or the Trashcan on the far right in the row to delete this row. If you want to go ahead and add it back, simply clone the row again, and we can figure the days as needed.
Once you’re done, go ahead and click on Save Schedule. Now let’s go to Providers Schedules by clicking on the link above. We can see that we have two weeks in here, and on the far right under our Actions we can delete, copy, or edit this. We can also edit this week by clicking on the Week Of link. Let’s go ahead and select our Copy icon. Once we do this, it’s going to pre-select all of the remaining weeks for the next year. Then, click on Save.
Once you’ve done so, we can see that that week that we created has been copied for Rachel Kraushaar until October 2020. Now that this is set and safe, let’s go ahead and view this in our calendar, by clicking on Calendar and View Calendar in the left-hand navigation menu. Let’s switch our appointment interval by 60 minutes, so we have a better idea of what our template looks like and choose our provider, such as Rachel Kraushaar. Great. Now we can easily see the times and hours she’s available this week. And that is how we template Provider Work Schedules.
