Configuring referral sources in your SPC. Go to your left hand navigation menu. Scroll down to configuration and choose referral sources. Here in our referral settings, we can see the referral sources that are already added to your SPC. Those have system referral source that cannot be deleted are ones that come with your SPC and already are being tracked. We’ve added our crystal clear demo website, which is our practices website. You can see the category is internet. We can delete or edit this on the right hand side of this row.
To change the name of this referral source, just type in the field here, and to alter the category, click in this field and choose the correct category. In this case, it is still internet so we can click on save or cancel to keep this as is. To add a new referral source, go to add referral source on the top right hand side under marketing details and the training icon. Here you can add the referral source title. In this case it’s our Botox Party, November 2019, because we want to track how many people have attended the Botox party of November 2019.
Then we’re going to add our referral source category. We can add this as an event, internet patient, physician, print, radio, social media, staff, television or other, which in this case is an event, and then simply click on save. Save added successfully. Now we can see the name and category of the new referral source that we just added.
Now whenever we are adding or referral source of a patient, we can choose Botox Party of November 2019. For example, if we pull up Rachel [Crasher’s 00:01:41] contact profile. For the sake of practice, let’s say she does not have a referral source and she attended our Botox Party November 2019. That was our first impression of us. Click on edit and under primary referral source, select Botox Party November, 2019. Don’t forget to click on save. Now that referral source has been added to this contact.
We can track all of the patients that are coming from this referral source under pipeline management. So in your left hand navigation menu, click on pipeline management, which will bring you to this screen. Now I know you’re already familiar with the pipeline management and how powerful this tool is, so let’s simply go ahead and filter this by referral source. Choose Botox Party 2019. Click on update. This will track the opportunity revenue versus actual revenue of all the contacts that will be added to this referral source in this specific date range. We could see one contact, which is Rachel Crasher, the patient we just added to this referral source, and that’s how we configure our referral sources.
